Our Story
Altana, a land crafted by the hands of the gods and goddesses. Their love, joy, and tears created the soil, rivers, and oceans. Each country ruled by their worshiped deity, it is through the faith of their people that they are still there. Defending each of their ideals from clashing with each other's throats and maintaining a long-lasting peace.
Gathering what we can, the world of the ancients varied in fauna and flora. Some locations greatly flourished while other areas were barren of any life. Kuro, the god of creation, and his wife, Altana, soon crafted a means to form the home that we see today. Along the lines of time, Altana formed the planet while Kuro created the life on the lands. Sacrificing her own body for this Kuro wept till the soil, barren of water, had oceans and lakes. Soon he created a means of managing all the land in his children, the fourteen deities that each handled aspects of the world. A calamity soon surged throughout the land, creating a new type of problem, a corrupted classification of people known as the depraved. Those who fall into this become engulfed by a darkness that cannot be cured. With their creation, the spread of despair increased and eventually seeped their way into the royal families. Creating a war between all fourteen countries seeking the cause was impossible to tell what the real purpose was. Seeing this despair in their worshipers the fourteen deities sacrificed their lives to create a peace that killed off the depraved. With their noble sacrifice, their people sought to care for the new hosts of their souls and place them as their rulers. While most see them as their god on land, it is hard to understand the reasoning behind it. But now that the deities roam the nation with their people, a sense of stability remained...

for those unable to use magick, there is technology that was developed by the Aidroguns that gave people the ability to 'use' magick.
aura - a power that is used to enhance one's abilities, most creations on altana are unable to use her blessing of using magick but those who are blessed with her touch are much more capable of using it and have stronger auras than others.in order to use an aura it takes years of rough training in order for them to be able to wield it's abilities.Though despite this, there are some who simply don't have an aura.Everyone's aura is a different color.elemental stone - amplifies and stabilizes aura
Asudia - Weapons that are specialized for those who are capable of extreme mana manipulation. These weapons are so cared for that they let off a glow and a hum to those who's connection to their aura is significantly strong enough. Only those within a royal family or trusted knights are capable of attaining these weapons.
'modern technology' - this can pertain to the use of commonly seen smart phones, television, tablets, and even computers. though not as well known due to others outside of the main source. it is currently extremely well known and seen in private homes for those in the upper class and middle class. it is powered by the thunder element/elemental stones.
explaination of the 13 elements
Wind - Create wings, cause tornadoes, influence local weather patterns. Are also known to manipulate ice and snow.
Earth - They are granted the ability to move rocks, transmute minerals and physical objects as well as build things.
Fire - This is a specialty for Kitsune and Dragonias in which they can create and control fire.
River - It's an ability that can create water, or control the creatures in the water. It is on a small scale a life-giving ability that can heal others and 'revive' things around them. As well as Wind, wielders of this are capable of ice and snow manipulation.
Ocean - Like the river but on a much larger scale. Magus can cause large storms, flooding and even tsunamis. They can use this to conjure up creatures within the depths.
Heaven - It's the power of magic and the heavens. Being able to teleport they can call upon creatures of magic and are able to throw meteors at targets. This ability also allows magus to do other magicks but at extremely reduced effects.
Thunder - This ability is a cousin to the wind element. Are able to throw lightning, cause storms and create shields of energy.
Mountain - Being cousin to stone, this element cause control of the mountains. Which can cause earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and even landslides.
Void - Dark magic, with this ability a magus can cause blights, drain life, summon creatures of darkness, slip into shadows and drain light from areas. It isn't considered as a 'evil' magick regardless of what other magick users consider it.
Spirit - Manipulation of the spirit world, demons and the other creatures. The nature of this magick does not work on mortals due to mortals having SOULS. As such the magus must wait for someone to die before the ability for this manipulation to work. This also means that a magus can bind, summon, banish, ward or trap a spirit.
Time - *this does not mean that a magus can time travel They can *predict future events. This is the perception and manipulation of time, not the mastery of reality.
Forest - Control and manipulation over wood, trees, and creatures of the forest. Those who have this ability are almost druidic in their ability to survive and blend in with the woods. They can also find herbs and roots to work salves with. Allowing them to be good healers.
Music - Control of sound and music. A magus can sing effects that are very similar to spells. This can control other through entrancement, ward off creatures of a supernatural nature and control the moral of others. (think of bards, sirens, ect.)

☾ **Lunarians ; ** ☽Known as the moon people, inspired from Japanese, Chinese and Korean culture. The Lunarians dedicate their life to push further on in fruition to keep their heritage and culture on going. Prior the Lunarians were known as a peace loving race where they only fought when needed and simply sought to end conflicts. Most Lunarians struggle with child birth, but were well known to be taken and forced into slavery by the Solari and other races for their child birth struggles. This was easy for them to take Lunarians and have them used as playthings. This came to an end when the late emperor, Halta Tsukimi, forcefully brought it to a stop. Their standing now with the world is one of respect and fear for the power that the peaceful country hides within it's smiles.Their caste system no longer exists within Yatori, finding that it only caused conflict within their own people.

Red for the flames of pride and protection, White for the purity of life and all around, Purple and Pink both representing the regal side, and Black for the darkness inside their souls. But there is one color that can only exist for the rest of their lives, Blue.

☼ Solari ; ☼The Sun people mostly inspired with a mix of European culture from various backgrounds. With the same motivation as the Lunarian’s, they wish to push their race towards a higher goal. What would a Solari be without their harsh forms of love towards one another? Living within a desert does that to a Solarian after all. They're loving yet brutal and were well known to be alright with the use of slavery in order to push their goals further. Once upon a time they were at peace with the Lunari, until the chance to take advantage of the kindness the Lunari appeared they leaped onto it. Taking them as well into their export of slaves, there was no sense in using them for their original goal so they were used as play things for the Solari... Despite the Lunarian Empress stopping this there were still small towns and major cities that ignored it. "They're Lunari, the scum of the planet. Why must we follow their word?" As of now their standing with the world is the same as the Lunarians.The Solari's caste system is strict and they will enforce it on those who wish to rebel.

Being entities of the sun, it is simple to say that they have a wonderful amount of control over flames. Using this ability often to heal others, or even use the flames as a way to fly. Most see Solari as holy beings though their roots are often seen as tribal. As the Lunarians, the colors correlate with their abilities. Orange moving into the ranks as a mage/assassin while Red are warriors as well. Brown Solarians typically take in any role their society needs. Often being seen in the shops or markets. While Yellow and Beige Solarians are often take a liking to healers, warriors, and mages.

☼ Hoshi ☼The children of StarsA unwanted mix of a Solari and a Lunari, one accepts them while the other enslaves their kind. The Lunari accept the hybrids and seeks to protect them from the Solari. Their only save location is anywhere that isn't within Thena. All they wish is for safety from the Solari which hunt them down. Most Hoshi are kept in the safe arms of the Lunari and are known to take more of their culture their other half, the Solari.

They're practically the same as any Lunari or Solari, however they're able to amplify it regardless of the time of day. There is no caste system that is strictly enforced within the Hoshi as well.

✤ Lendarian ; ✤Humanoid "Chimera"The hybrid mix of 'agressive' animals and humans. Inspired from a Gladiator standpoint. Usually distinctive from two classes due to their ears/horns. Their deity, Yion, was inspired by his father's creation the chimera. So he thought, "Why not create a race that looks like them?" thus the Lendarians were created. They have been well known for their enhanced physical activity and their light abilities in magick. In order to reach their 'second' generation they have to initiate in intimate relations that'll cause an almost euphoric feeling of change. Currently the Lendarians are known to keep to themselves though they do keep their boarders opened to all, there is a clear distain for the other races. This does affect their relations and thus only those who seek for more 'calmer' alliances look away from the Lendarians.

The Lendarian, bred specifically for battle and extreme loyalty. Within their blood and within their rights, they continue their bloodthirsty for more territories and resources. Within recent years, however, they have now calmed down and no longer hold their "aggressive" stereotype. This being proven by the deity's children and his most prized child Fuyu. They are still strong and mighty keeping up with the proud linage of a Lendarian.

◊ Kriels ◊MermaidsThey’re a rare sight to see due to living in the ocean and only coming out of the water when it is necessary, such as world meetings, tourism, ect. Mostly being inspired off of mermaids they are able to shapeshift their fins into legs at a moments notice. Since they don't leave the water often, they often are unaware of events. Despite this some Kriel leave the water and live on the island. Though they're still ignorant of events that go on.

Being credited for the creation of adventurer guilds the people are praised for their creativity and kindness.

▸Draconias▸Dragon peopleThe Dragonlings are the first beings in the sky. A mix between dragons and humans brought the anomaly of the ‘half-breeds’. Currently, some reside in the sky, while others live on land. Those who live in the sky are known to be more in 'tune' with their creators intention. This is harsh as well when even the deity's own child, Lua, was forced to live separated from her family due to her 'imperfections'. Common features for the Draconias are their tails, horns, and ears. They're strong and are able to use fire elements.

◉ Kitsune ; ◉Kitsune are half fox and half human, with traits of a fox for ears and tails. They are gifted with abilities for trickery and thirteen elements. Though they have a small home, they are quite at peace with it. Knowing that they are backed up with the Lunarians they have no fear. Each Kitsune is given an element and only one element per kitsune. There are only few kitsune within Suto that are have the ability to control Heaven magick. The deity Miyu has made it so only her family will be the only ones that are born with this privilege.

Though they mainly inhabit volcanoes and the land around it, wanting to be within the warmth mostly. The same as the Kriel they have shapeshifting abilities to help them swim with ease. However, unlike the Kriel, the Mantriels keep up to date on world affairs. Making things easier for them to understand when it comes to regards of relations between other countries. Though despite this they're not used to seeing others come by their homeland often.

❁ Dyvinian ❁DryadSentient beings that are trees, they take different forms between Aiheots and trees. They’re known for their ways of being hidden and instantly being seen as Aiheots within seconds. They are protectors of the forest and will not hesitate to kill if anyone threatens their home. In their eyes, the land matters more than their lives. Only for this purpose, they're rarely seen, they've rarely interacted with any other race. It is a mystery as how they manage to handle themselves regardless of how isolated they are.

✽ Pheo ; ✽FairiesFairies are generally described as Aiheots in appearance and having magical powers. With insect wings behind them, they’re able to take flight and aid in healing abilities be it large or small. They’re typically seen as a 'small' race due to how many fairies that are seen are tiny. It is also common to see variations of other fairies, some could be wingless and have horns or have animal-like traits/features. Though being seen as 'small' most Pheos are quite average in height in comparison to any other race! Most Pheo grow up to 6 ft tall and are known for being childish despite how large they are. In comparison, they get along quite well with the creatures that reside in their land. It isn't uncommon to see the Pheo children flying or running about with their little mandragora friends.

❋ Ipuc ❋ElvesThe Ipuc seem generally to have been thought of as beings with magical powers and supernatural beauty, ambivalent towards everyday people, and capable of either helping or hindering them. They live in peace with all around them and put themselves within the nurturing winds of nature. Their deity, Motarae has been known to hide his people deep within forests in order to keep them hidden. Like his brother, Uesis, he sees the other races as inferior and simply care only for themselves. This view of the races is so embedded in him that his people agree with him, treating nearly every other race that isn't them with disgust. Leaving the Ipuc in a small circle of alliances. Though they are well known for being excellent teachers, so some Ipuc that are 'different' leave the Sricroa Luavian Territory and make their journey towards any other land.

☼ Aidrogun ☼ElementalistCapable of manipulation upon the elements for their bidding, the Lavigne clan members are well known for their cold-hearted reactions towards strangers and their enemies. They keep to themselves and away from other interactions from those who are not within their clan. Living in an isolated location, the Aidrogun enjoy the isolated area so that they couldn't be reached by the outside races. They find it to be a advantage in their learning due to the lack of interruptions from others. Like the other isolated races, they're extremely biased to their own race and if they don't seem anywhere close to an Aidrogun or a Aiheot then no one will be looked at respectfully while they're in Buviet.
